Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Playwright for end-to-end automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building robust, scalable test automation frameworks and leading QA teams through agile delivery cycles

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation test frameworks using Python and Playwright.
- Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers to deliver high-quality automated test coverage across web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation suites with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Own and improve test coverage, stability, and speed of execution across releases.
- Review test cases, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Analyse test failures, debug issues, and report findings with actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed documentation, status reports, and QA metrics for leadership and stakeholders. Technical Skills:




- Solid programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferably Python bindings) for UI automation.
- Solid understanding of test automation principles, frameworks, and patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or Python requests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and source control systems (Git).
- · Knowledge of containerization and test execution in Docker/Kubernetes environments is a plus.

Required Skilled and Qualifications:

- Experience leading QA or test automation teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Experience with performance or load testing tools is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
