Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lead Design and Verification (PCIe) role based in Bengaluru South, intended for professionals with 8+ years of relevant experience who can join immediately. The role involves leading PCIe-based IP and SoC design and verification activities, including developing verification plans, testbenches, and test cases, while ensuring coverage and quality targets are met. The person in this position will guide architecture and micro-architecture discussions, collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration and sign-off, and review design specifications and verification environments.

Daily tasks include debugging complex issues, optimizing verification flows, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and best practices across projects.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong expertise in PCIe-based IP/SoC design and verification, including protocol understanding, integration, and system-level validation.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in VLSI design methodologies, digital design fundamentals, and RTL development using industry-standard HDLs (such as Verilog/SystemVerilog).
- Candidates should possess experience with advanced verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, constrained random verification, coverage-driven verification, and assertion-based verification.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with EDA tools and workflows for simulation, debugging, GLS, and physical design handoff, along with familiarity with version control and scripting.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and drive decisions in complex design environments.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with design, integration, physical design, and software teams.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in automotive or safety-critical semiconductor domains is an added advantage.
- Immediate availability to join, willingness to work in office in Bengaluru South, and prior experience in lead or senior roles in semiconductor design and verification are highly beneficial.
