Purpose/Objective

The Cell Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, validation, and commercialization of advanced lithium-ion battery cells.

The role involves driving cell chemistry development, electrode design, cell performance optimization, safety validation, and manufacturing scale-up while working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D;, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead development of lithium-ion battery cells for EV and BESS applications.
- Define cell architecture, chemistry selection, and performance targets.
- Optimize cathode, anode, electrolyte, separator, and cell configuration.
- Drive cell design improvements to enhance energy density, cycle life, safety,



and cost competitiveness.
- Evaluate emerging battery technologies and next-generation chemistries.

Qualifications and Experience

E.

Tech or M.

/M.

Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

- PhD in Electrochemistry or Battery Technology is preferred.
