Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a LaTeX Writer at Ganith Online. The LaTeX Writer will be responsible for creating, formatting, and maintaining mathematics-related documents, problem sets, lesson materials, and assessments using LaTeX. Day-to-day tasks include converting handwritten or draft content into professional LaTeX documents, ensuring mathematical notation is accurate and consistent, and collaborating with educators to refine explanations and layouts for clarity.

The role also involves proofreading for typographical and formatting errors, organizing content repositories, and updating materials based on feedback from the curriculum team.



The LaTeX Writer will work closely with other team members via online collaboration tools to meet project timelines and uphold quality standards for educational content.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in LaTeX for mathematical typesetting, including equations, proofs, and structured documents.
- Solid foundation in mathematics (at least undergraduate-level coursework or equivalent experience) to ensure accurate representation of concepts and notation.
- Attention to detail in proofreading, formatting, and consistency across documents.
- Experience creating educational or academic materials, such as textbooks, assignments, or lecture notes, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines for multiple projects.
- Transparent written communication skills and willingness to collaborate with educators and content creators.
- Familiarity with version control or document management tools (e.g., Git, cloud-based collaboration platforms) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, education, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
