Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Lab Technician with strong technical skills in laboratory procedures, sample processing, quality control, and accurate reporting. The candidate should be capable of handling routine laboratory operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, hygiene, patient safety, and turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations in Hematology, Clinical Pathology, Biochemistry, and other relevant sections based on experience.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Perform internal quality control procedures and maintain accurate quality control records.
- Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal as per laboratory protocols.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, infection control, biosafety, and biomedical waste management standards.
- Verify sample details and ensure accurate entry of results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), where applicable.
- Monitor reagent inventory, expiry dates, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with laboratory supervisors, pathologists, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.




- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain laboratory documentation.

- Ability to identify sample-related issues and resolve routine technical problems.

- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or holidays as per laboratory requirements.

Eligibility Criteria
- DMLT qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital laboratory.
- Hands-on experience with automated and semi analyzers and routine laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality standards and documentation.
- Professional attitude, reliability, and a patient-focused approach.
