Role Description - The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with detailed drawings and presentations for client review. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating on space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; details, and assisting in the preparation of construction and architectural documentation. The role involves regular on-site coordination, vendor interaction, and support during project execution to ensure design intent is maintained.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad,



working closely with senior designers and architects to deliver high-quality interior environments.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and basic construction principles to collaborate effectively with architects and contractors.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including detailed interior and joinery documentation.
- Experience or training in FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and product research.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow design direction while contributing creative ideas.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or 1 year of professional experience in interior projects is preferred.
