We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer with knowledge of AutoCAD to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D dental clinic layout drawings based on floor plans and layouts received from clients.
Training and technical guidance will be provided by our architect to help the candidate understand dental clinic planning requirements and develop the necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D dental clinic layout drawings using AutoCAD based on layouts and requirements received from clients.
- Convert client-provided floor plans into detailed and accurate dental clinic layouts.
- Position dental chairs, equipment, workstations, reception areas, sterilization rooms and other clinic facilities according to the design requirements.
- Incorporate corrections and revisions based on feedback from the architect.
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, measurements, room layouts and equipment positioning.
- Coordinate with the architect and sales team to understand project requirements.
- Ensure drawings are completed within the agreed project timelines.
- Flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home, based on project requirements and company approval
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Drafting, Architecture or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is preferred.
- Basic understanding of floor plans, dimensions, measurements and technical drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn dental clinic planning and equipment layout requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience
- Freshers with basic AutoCAD knowledge are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with experience in 2D drafting, interior layouts or architectural drawings will have an advantage.
- On-the-job training and guidance will be provided by our architect.
