Somaya Sampat is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Communications & Social Media Executive to manage architectural communications, social media, publications and digital content. The role involves developing engaging content, managing digital platforms and coordinating with architectural teams to communicate the practice's projects, design philosophy and achievements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and edit content for architectural projects, publications, presentations and digital platforms.
- Manage social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn and Meta Business Suite.
- Create engaging social media posts, carousels, reels and short-form videos.
- Plan and maintain social media content calendars, scheduling and performance tracking.
- Design presentations, portfolios and communication materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Edit and enhance architectural photographs, videos and other visual content.
- Prepare architectural award submissions, press releases and publication materials.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, photographers, publications and external stakeholders.




- Manage website content, including project descriptions, news and announcements.
- Maintain consistency in the practice's branding, visual identity and communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, social media management or design-related content creation.
- Degree in Architecture, Mass Communication, Journalism, Design or a related field.
- Strong interest and understanding of architecture, design and the built environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite for social media management, scheduling and analytics.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or equivalent.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational, creative, coordination and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and maintain high-quality output.
- Prior experience in architectural communications, publications or design practices will be an added advantage.
