Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Junior AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure OpenAI and Generative AI to develop, integrate, and optimize AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate should have practical experience building LLM-based solutions, integrating Azure AI services, and developing scalable AI applications using Python and contemporary GenAI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI services and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Build AI-powered applications using GPT models, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Develop and integrate REST APIs for AI/ML applications.
- Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search for knowledge-based applications.
- Implement document processing, conversational AI, chatbots, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Optimize LLM performance, response quality, latency, and token usage.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, data sources, and Azure cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of AI/ML applications.

Required Technical Skills

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of AI agents, tool calling, and multi-agent workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence, and enterprise RAG solutions.
- Understanding of ML fundamentals, model evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and monitoring AI applications.

Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, or LLM application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure OpenAI and Generative AI.
- Demonstrated experience building practical AI solutions or proof-of-concept applications.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Mumbai, five days a week.
