About the Internship

Centre Point Group Enterprise (CPGE) invites applications from students pursuing or having completed a Diploma or B.Sc. in Hotel Management for an internship opportunity across its hospitality operations in Shillong.

This internship offers practical industry exposure, hands-on training, and an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals across multiple hospitality departments and renowned dining and beverage outlets.

Departments Available

Internship opportunities are available in the following departments:

1. Housekeeping (HK)

- Learn hotel housekeeping procedures and cleaning standards.
- Understand room and public area maintenance.
- Gain knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping operations.
- Assist the team in maintaining cleanliness and service quality.

2. Food & Beverage Service (F&B; Service)

- Gain hands-on experience in restaurant service and guest handling.
- Learn table setup, food and beverage service, and service etiquette.
- Understand restaurant operations and guest satisfaction standards.
- Develop communication and customer service skills.

3. Food Production (Kitchen)

- Gain practical exposure to kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Learn food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Understand kitchen organisation, mise en place, and basic culinary techniques.
- Work under the guidance of experienced chefs.

4. Front Office

- Learn guest relations, reception procedures, and professional communication.
- Gain exposure to guest check-in and check-out procedures, where applicable.




- Understand reservation handling and front office coordination.
- Develop customer service and hospitality management skills.

Properties & Outlets Selected interns will receive practical exposure to CPGE's hospitality outlets, including:
- Nonna Mei Restaurant
- Ishana Restaurant
- Shadskye Bar

Interns will gain valuable experience in a skilled hospitality environment and learn about industry practices, service standards, and day-to-day operations.

Eligibility Criteria

- Students pursuing or having completed a Diploma or B.Sc. in Hotel Management.
- Candidates interested in gaining practical experience in the hospitality industry.
- Willingness to learn, a positive attitude, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
