Role Description This is a full-time, in office International Business Development role based in Ahmedabad. The role involves identifying and developing new international markets and clients for APIs, intermediates, finished dosage forms, nutraceuticals, herbal products, and specialty chemicals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts with global partners.

The team member will coordinate closely with internal stakeholders such as sourcing, regulatory, and logistics to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery. The role also includes maintaining long-term relationships with international clients, participating in industry events, and providing regular business performance reports and forecasts.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in International Business Development and International Business, with experience in global pharmaceutical or chemical markets.




- Proficiency in Market Research for identifying opportunities, analyzing competitors, and understanding regulatory and commercial landscapes.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation capabilities, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing international deals.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, International Trade, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical exports, GMP, regulatory requirements, and documentation processes is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; additional language abilities beyond English are an advantage.
