Interior designer / Draftsman

Role & Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D interior fit-out drawings, including floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and setting-out drawings.

- Develop detailed joinery drawings for counters, display units, cabinets, wall cladding, shopfronts, and custom furniture.

- Create 3D models, interior visualizations, and design presentations as required.

- Coordinate design drawings with project requirements, site dimensions, materials, finishes, and construction details.

- Incorporate client, consultant, and mall approval comments into drawings.

- Prepare detailed design submissions, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.

- Coordinate with the design team to ensure drawing accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

- Work on retail and commercial interior fit-out projects for UAE/GCC and Indian clients.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.

- 25 years of relevant experience in interior design, drafting, or interior fit-out projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of 3ds Max and Photoshop is preferred for design candidates.





- Strong understanding of joinery detailing, construction drawings, sections, elevations, materials, and interior finishes.

- Ability to prepare accurate, dimensioned, construction-ready working drawings.

- Experience in retail fit-out projects, mall submissions, and UAE/GCC projects will be an added advantage.

- Good communication, coordination, attention to detail, and time-management skills.

- Candidates should be able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

- Applicants must be willing to work full-time from our Muringoor, Chalakudy, Thrissur office.
