Role Description The Inside Sales Representative (Chromatography & Supplies) is a full time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for managing the complete indoor sales cycle—from handling inbound product inquiries and generating technical quotes to aggressively executing quotation and payment follow-ups. You will act as a core commercial anchor, ensuring that quotes convert to orders and orders convert to timely revenue, while maintaining strong account relationships across pharma, biotech, and research institutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Quotation & Commercial Follow-ups: Actively call and follow up on submitted quotations to handle customer objections, negotiate terms, and accelerate order closures.
- Payment Recovery & Follow-ups: Conduct regular, professional payment follow-up calls to ensure outstanding invoices and collections are cleared within agreed credit timelines.
- Lead Management & Inquiries: Respond to inbound inquiries promptly, communicate product features/benefits, and support customers in selecting suitable chromatography consumables or equipment.




- Lead Generation: Prospect and qualify new business opportunities via cold calling and email outreach to expand the customer base across the region.
- Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate daily with the field sales team and logistics department to track order fulfillment, delivery statuses, and customer queries.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain highly accurate records of calls, quotation statuses, pending payments, and customer interactions in the CRM and MS Office tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in Inside Sales, Telesales, or Account Management, preferably handling technical, laboratory, or chemical/scientific products.
- Core Sales Skills: Strong expertise in commercial phone-handling, including negotiation, quote conversion, and persistence in payment collections.
- Domain Knowledge: A basic understanding of chromatography, laboratory equipment, columns, or scientific supplies is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in regional languages (Telugu and/or Hindi) is a major advantage for regional customer calling.
- Tools Proficiency: High comfort level with CRM software, MS Office (especially MS Excel for tracking quotes and payments), and phone/email sales workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc / M.Sc), Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Location: Must be able to work full-time, on-site at our Hyderabad office and meet defined commercial and sales targets.
