Ingenium Developer

We are seeking a skilled Ingenium Developer to join our Engineering team and help build, enhance, and maintain cutting-edge life insurance solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Ingenium, insurance product development, and SQL or MongoDB to deliver robust, high-quality software that meets our clients’ evolving needs. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain life insurance products on the Ingenium platform.
2. Write efficient, scalable code using SQL or MongoDB to manage and optimize data structures.
3. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
4. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and release notes.
7. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), adhering to agile best practices.
8. Continuously monitor and improve application performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on software development experience on Ingenium.
3. Strong proficiency in Ingenium with proven experience implementing or customizing life insurance products.
4. Solid knowledge of SQL or MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
5. Valuable understanding of life insurance products, policy administration processes, and industry terminology.
6. Experience working within an agile development environment and full SDLC.
7. Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

Nice to Have:

1. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
3. Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
5. Certification in life insurance or related financial services.
6. Prior experience integrating Ingenium with third-party systems or data sources.
7. Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements in the insurance sector.
