Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement automated infrastructure provisioning workflows for on-premises environments, from approved service requests to server deployment and configuration.

- Automate VM/host provisioning, operating system installation, domain joining, and baseline configuration.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

- Integrate infrastructure components and services, including network, storage, DNS, IP management, monitoring, patching, backup, security agents, and compliance controls.

- Work with virtualization and infrastructure management platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V/SCVMM, OneView, SCCM, and Satellite.

- Integrate automation workflows with ServiceNow for request intake, approvals, orchestration, status tracking, CMDB updates, and change management.

- Develop reusable, version-controlled automation scripts and infrastructure standards.

- Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, technical documentation, and post-implementation support.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and successful handover.





Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Ansible.

- Scripting and automation expertise using PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash.

- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and SCVMM.

- Working knowledge of OneView, SCCM, and Satellite.

- Experience with Git, REST APIs, and infrastructure tool integrations.

- Understanding of server provisioning, configuration management, patching, monitoring, and security compliance.

- Knowledge of IT service management processes, including change management and CMDB updates, is an advantage.

Qualifications And Experience

- 6-8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure automation.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
