Head of Section - LT leads and manages all aspects of the liquid terminal’s operations related to handling, storage, and distribution of liquid cargo.
Responsible for smooth and profitable functioning of the terminal while prioritizing safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Operations Management: Supervise terminal operations, including vessel import/export and liquid cargo transfer to tanker trucks, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
Safety and Compliance: Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for terminal equipment; ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance, incidents, and compliance to the Head of Liquid Terminal.
Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators and promote a culture of continuous improvement; evaluate the efficiency of liquid cargo distribution operations.
Budget Control: Manage the terminal budget, monitor financial performance, and analyze cost structures; implement strategies to enhance profitability while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard terminal operations, personnel safety, and cargo integrity.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Asset healthiness: To encsure maximum asset healthiness for smooth operation.
Equipment management : To upkeep pumps, compressors, loading arms and other LT equipments in ready to use condition.
Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.
Team Development: Promote a respectful and protected workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
