Role Description: Hiring: Manager – HR & Payroll (Head Office), Hyderabad
Grossmacht Engineers (GEPL) manages shaft sinking, hoisting and underground mining infrastructure jobs at HZL and HCL mines. We are centralising payroll for all our sites at head office, and we need one person to own it.
What you will own
- Employee master and monthly payroll for staff and site workers, run in the system (Spine HR; other systems fine)
- Attendance discipline from sites: fixed format, fixed cut-off, no payout without a trail
- PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages (mines) and CLRA – challans, registers, inspections
- Monthly contractor-compliance packs for HZL/Vedanta and HCL
- Manpower-cost MIS per site to the directors
What we need
- 8–12 years in HR and payroll, at least 5 running multi-site payroll for a construction, mining, EPC or manpower-contracting company
- Full-time regular graduate plus a full-time regular MBA/PGDM (HR), MSW (HR/PM&IR;), MHRM or MA (HRM/IR); distance or correspondence degrees not considered
- Has personally handled 300+ site workers across more than one state
- Hands-on on a payroll system – set up masters and salary structures, not just processed
- Strong Excel; can read a site salary sheet and spot what is wrong
- English and Telugu, working Hindi; some travel to Rajasthan sites
