Purpose/Objective

Head Protection & Metering is responsible for directing the overall strategy and execution of Project Management and Endorsement functions, ensuring the successful implementation of technical standards, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all projects within the renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Direct all project and maintenance operations to ensure they meet strategic goals and technical standards, optimizing performance metrics and compliance.
- Lead detailed project planning, including schedules and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Utilize advanced metrics and diagnostic tools to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and integrate predictive maintenance models for improved efficiency.
- Manage the budget for protection systems, ensuring cost-effective implementation and maintenance without compromising on quality or compliance.
- Promote sustainability by incorporating environmentally responsible practices and materials into protection system design and operations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, manage documentation, and address deviations to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and environmental regulations.
- Offer expert leadership to project and maintenance teams, resolve technical challenges,



and ensure best practices and standards are consistently applied.
- Identify and implement recent digital tools or technologies to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve data analysis in commissioning processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification & Education - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Power Engineering.

- Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) is preferred.
- Strong academic foundation in power systems, electrical engineering, and project management.

In-depth knowledge of standards and best practices for power system equipment and components.

- 18+ years of experience in the power or renewable energy sector, with a focus on project engineering, testing, and certification.

- Hands-on experience in protection relays and metering systems
