: Guest Host Executive

Location: Chengannaseri, Kerala

Job Type: Full time, on-site

Shift: 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Experience: 1-2 years in restaurant, hotel or hospitality front-of-house roles

Salary: ₹18,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, presentable and service-focused Guest Host Executive. You will be the first-person guests meet, setting the tone for their dining experience from the moment they walk in until they leave satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome guests warmly at the entrance and seat them promptly based on party size and preference.
- Manage table reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists, especially during lunch and dinner peak hours.
- Guide guests through the menu, signature dishes, daily specials and dietary options.
- Coordinate with the captain, service staff, kitchen and billing team so orders and requests are handled smoothly.
- Handle guest queries, special requests and celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries.
- Handle complaints politely and professionally,



and escalate to the manager when needed.
- Collect guest feedback and share insights with the management team.
- Keep the entrance, waiting area and host desk clean, organised and welcoming.
- Maintain reservation records, guest data and daily reports accurately.
- Follow restaurant SOPs, grooming standards and hygiene and safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience as a host/hostess, steward, or in a similar guest-facing role.
- Graduate or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
- Good communication skills in Malayalam and English. Hindi or Tamil is an added advantage.
- Pleasant personality, neat grooming and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy hours.
- Basic computer or POS and reservation software knowledge.
- Willingness to work the 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift, including weekends and holidays.
