Job Title: Group Financial Controller

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. This role involves managing the financial reporting process, developing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and implementing financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, forecasting future financial performance.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- Coordinate and lead audit processes, working closely with external auditors.
- Ensure the financial processes and internal controls are robust and followed throughout the organization.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
- Liaise with senior management to provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and trends.
- Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and report to the executive team.
- Stay up to date with financial regulations and industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,



or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is required.
- Proven experience in financial management, ideally in a group or multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
