Gold Appraiser – Sales Department

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Gold Appraiser to join our energetic sales team. In this role, you will combine your expertise in gold valuation with strong sales acumen to deliver accurate appraisals, build lasting client relationships, and drive gold-loan growth for the organization. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct precise testing and valuation of gold jewellery and ornaments presented by customers.
2. Explain appraisal results, loan terms, interest rates, and repayment schedules clearly to clients.
3. Promote and cross-sell gold loan products and related financial services to achieve monthly sales targets.
4. Perform field visits to acquire new customers, collect gold items for appraisal, and foster long-term client relationships.
5. Maintain accurate records of valuations, loan documentation, and daily sales activities in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
6. Ensure the safe handling, storage,



and transfer of pledged gold assets.
7. Monitor market trends in gold pricing to provide up-to-date information to the sales team and management.
8. Collaborate with branch staff to deliver excellent customer service and seamless loan disbursals.
9. Support periodic stock audits and participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and appraisal skills.

Requirements:

1. 1–5 years of hands-on experience in gold appraisal, gold loans, or related financial services.
2. Proficiency in testing gold purity, weight measurement, and determining accurate market value.
3. Strong sales orientation with a proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and retain customers.
5. High ethical standards and attention to detail when handling high-value assets.
6. Ability to work independently in the field and travel within assigned territory.
7. Basic computer literacy for data entry, loan processing, and reporting.
