Job Title: General Manager: Supply Chain Logistics

The General Manager of Supply Chain Logistics is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, from procurement and inventory management to transportation and distribution. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring that the supply chain operations align with the company’s overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in supply chain management.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Skills and Tools Required

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Proficient in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems,

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving supply chain operations and driving cost savings.
