Role Description

This is a 6-month contractual Full-Stack Engineer role focused on developing and maintaining web and mobile applications using React, React Native (Expo), TypeScript, and Supabase. The Full-Stack Engineer will take ownership of end-to-end feature development across a Vite/React web application and an Expo/React Native mobile application, both powered by a shared Supabase backend.

Responsibilities include building responsive user interfaces, implementing application logic, managing PostgreSQL databases, integrating Supabase Authentication and Storage, and maintaining secure Row Level Security (RLS) policies. The engineer will also handle database migrations, troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and write clean, reusable, and testable code.

The role requires following strong engineering practices, including Git-based workflows, focused pull requests, code reviews, unit testing, typechecking, and secure handling of production data. Candidates should be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot for scaffolding, debugging, refactoring, and testing while independently reviewing and validating all generated code.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including asynchronous programming,



error handling, type safety, and maintainable code architecture.
- Hands-on experience with React.js, including React Hooks, component-based architecture, routing, forms, and complex state management.
- Practical experience with React Native and Expo, including mobile screen development, navigation, device APIs, and application release builds.
- Solid understanding of Supabase and PostgreSQL, including authentication, database queries, Storage, schema management, migrations, and Row Level Security (RLS).
- Experience building and maintaining production-ready web and mobile applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, database permissions, API integrations, and protection of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Git, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows, with an emphasis on clean and reviewable code.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to improve development productivity.
- Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, linting, typechecking, and production issue resolution.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage features from development through deployment.
- Positive communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile or iterative development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with TanStack Query, Zod, React Hook Form, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Jest, or Playwright is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Maps, PDF generation, file uploads, signed URLs, Apple TestFlight, Google Play Console, and AI agent workflows is a plus.
