About the RoleThe Founder’s Office works directly with the Founder on high-priority business initiatives, cross-functional problem-solving, data-led decision-making and the execution of projects across the Group.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, execution, data, technology and AI. The work will span manufacturing, FMCG and emerging technology, with assignments shaped by business priorities and the individual's strengths.

We are building a team within the Founder’s Office and are looking for individuals who can take ownership, work through ambiguity and translate ideas into measurable outcomes.

Depending on your experience and expertise, your work may focus on business projects and execution, business intelligence and analytics, data engineering, automation, AI-led solutions, or a combination of these areas.

This is a hands-on role. We are looking for people who can do the work themselves, work effectively with business teams and specialists, and build capabilities that can scale with the organisation.

Key Responsibilities1.

Business

Projects & Strategic Initiatives

- Work with the Founder on priority initiatives across Surya Global Flexifilms, Priyagold and the Group's technology-led businesses.
- Support business expansion, new initiatives, pilot projects and cross-functional improvement programmes.
- Break down complex business problems into structured workstreams, action plans and measurable outcomes.
- Take ownership of projects from problem definition and analysis through implementation and closure.
- Track milestones, resolve execution bottlenecks and ensure accountability across stakeholders.

2.

Business

Problem-Solving & Analysis
- Work on business challenges across sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, distribution and other functions.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, business analysis and feasibility assessments.
- Analyse operational and commercial data to identify gaps, opportunities and potential improvements.




- Develop structured recommendations and translate insights into practical business actions.
- Prepare concise business briefs, presentations and decision-support material for the Founder.

3.

Business

Intelligence, Data & Analytics
- Build and strengthen the Group's business intelligence and analytics capabilities, translating business requirements into reliable data solutions.
- Develop dashboards, management reports and performance-monitoring systems using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Work with advanced SQL, PostgreSQL, data modelling and data transformation to create dependable analytical datasets.
- Integrate data across business applications, ERP/SAP, databases, APIs and other relevant systems.
- Improve the quality, consistency, accessibility and usability of business data.
- Partner with business teams to identify the right metrics, establish reporting frameworks and improve data-led decision-making.

4. Automation, AI & Technology-Led Solutions
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation and technology to improve business processes, productivity and decision-making.
- Explore and implement practical applications of AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and intelligent automation where relevant.
- Build or coordinate prototypes, pilots and solutions that address defined business needs.
- Work with internal teams and external technology partners to translate business requirements into workable solutions.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies based on their business relevance, feasibility and potential impact.

Founder

Enablement & Execution Governance
- Support the Founder in structuring priorities, organising information and driving follow-through on key initiatives.
- Prepare briefs, analytical inputs, progress updates and decision-support material.
- Coordinate across functions and businesses to resolve dependencies and maintain execution momentum.
- Establish clear tracking mechanisms for projects, commitments, milestones and outcomes.
- Provide coordination and operational support where required to advance business priorities.

6.

Capability

Building & Continuous Improvement
- Help establish repeatable processes, analytical frameworks and systems that reduce dependence on manual follow-ups.
- Document workflows, business requirements and standard operating procedures where appropriate.
- Work with business teams to improve adoption of dashboards, data systems, automation and new ways of working.
- For more experienced candidates, build and guide teams or specialist capabilities as the function scales.





What We Are Looking For We are open to candidates from different professional backgrounds, provided they demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, ownership and the capability to deliver.

For business projects and execution-oriented profiles:

- Experience in business analysis, consulting, strategy, operations, project management or cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to structure ambiguous problems.
- Ability to work with business data, develop insights and translate recommendations into execution.

For BI, data and technology-oriented profiles:

- Hands-on experience with advanced SQL, PostgreSQL, data modelling, ETL/data pipelines and enterprise reporting.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or comparable business intelligence platforms.
- Understanding of data integration through APIs, ERP/SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Exposure to Python, automation, LLMs, RAG or AI-enabled applications will be an advantage.
- Experience building scalable solutions and, for senior candidates, leading teams or technical workstreams.

An MBA from a strong institution may be useful for business-focused profiles. For technical profiles, strong engineering, computer science, analytics or related qualifications are relevant. Demonstrated capability and the quality of work matter more than the degree alone.

Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, versatile packaging, retail, supply chain or other operationally intensive businesses will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
