We are looking for an experienced First Class Boiler Operator to operate and maintain our coal-fired industrial boiler, ensuring protected, efficient, and uninterrupted steam generation for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the coal-fired boiler and maintain the required steam pressure and water level.
- Monitor coal feeding, combustion efficiency, furnace temperature, and fuel consumption.
- Operate and monitor FD fans, ID fans, feedwater pumps, and other boiler auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor boiler water quality, including pH and TDS, and ensure proper blowdown and water treatment.
- Monitor flue gas conditions, ash removal, and boiler performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of boiler equipment.
- Identify operational faults and coordinate with the maintenance team for troubleshooting.
- Maintain boiler logbooks, coal consumption records, and steam generation reports.




- Ensure compliance with boiler safety procedures and applicable statutory regulations.
- Handle boiler start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations safely.
- Supervise boiler helpers and maintain good housekeeping in the boiler section.

Required Skills
- Valid First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency, as required for the position.
- Hands-on experience in operating coal-fired industrial boilers.
- Good knowledge of boiler operation, combustion control, FD/ID fans, and feedwater systems.
- Knowledge of boiler water treatment, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to identify technical problems and ensure efficient boiler operation.
