Purpose/Objective

The Finishing Expert will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and aesthetics in the execution of finishing works for the Wayside Amenities at Roadways projects based at HO, Ahmedabad and extensively travelling to the sites.

This role is critical to delivering world-class infrastructure that aligns with Adani Group’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the infrastructure sector.

The Finishing Expert will oversee all aspects of finishing works, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to design specifications, and seamless integration with the overall project objectives.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Oversee and manage all finishing activities, including flooring, painting, plastering, tiling, and other interior and exterior works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure finishing works align with approved designs and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and resources required for finishing works.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure finishing works meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to in office teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports to the Projects Head, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines,



optimizing resource utilization to achieve cost efficiency.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in finishing techniques and materials, leveraging the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality across all finishing activities, ensuring compliance with Adani Group’s safety protocols and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

- 10 to 15 years of experience in managing finishing works for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the roadways or amenities sector.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality finishing works within budget and on schedule.

Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.

- Advanced certifications in construction management or finishing works will be an added advantage.

Years & Type of Experience - 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in finishing works for infrastructure projects.

- Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Domain Expertise - In-depth knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and quality standards.

- Expertise in managing finishing works for large-scale infrastructure projects, including roadways and amenities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in finishing works.
