Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven professional to drive finance transformation initiatives, with a focus on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency. The role involves working closely with Finance and Product/Technology teams to identify opportunities for automation, streamline existing processes, and implement scalable solutions that improve the effectiveness of finance operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong process understanding, structured problem-solving skills, and experience in executing transformation initiatives from identifying opportunities to implementation and closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Finance Process Transformation: Identify, assess, and drive opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate finance processes and operational activities.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Understand existing finance workflows at a granular level, identify manual and repetitive tasks, and develop solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Product, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into automation opportunities and drive implementation.
- Project & Execution Management: Break down ambiguous business problems into structured action plans, define milestones, track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely closure of initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across functions to understand business challenges, align on priorities, communicate progress, and drive decision-making.
- Requirement Gathering: Document current-state processes, identify gaps and improvement areas, define business requirements, and support the development and deployment of automation solutions.
- Performance Monitoring:



Establish relevant metrics to measure process efficiency, automation benefits, turnaround time, and overall business impact.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing processes and emerging technology solutions to identify opportunities for further optimization and transformation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA, preferably in Finance or a related discipline.
- 36 years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Process Excellence, Business Transformation, or Process Automation.
- Hands-on experience in driving finance transformation initiatives, particularly the automation of manual, repetitive, and operational finance activities.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and their underlying operational workflows.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly Finance, Product, Technology, or Business Operations.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and execution skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; familiarity with process automation tools, workflow systems, ERP platforms, or finance technology solutions is an advantage.
- A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to drive initiatives independently from problem identification through implementation.
