- Identify and troubleshoot tooling problems on the production floor
- Develop and implement tooling improvements to increase efficiency and quality
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and build new tools and fixtures

Qualifications
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or tooling engineering
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Designing and Developing Tools and Equipment: You will be responsible for designing new tools and equipment to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety in our manufacturing processes. This will involve understanding the specific requirements of each manufacturing operation and creating innovative solutions to meet those needs.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Maintenance and Repair: You will be responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment in Plant 16 are properly maintained and functioning optimally. This will involve creating and implementing maintenance schedules, performing regular inspections, and coordinating repairs as necessary.

This will involve staying current on industry best practices, participating in safety audits, and leading efforts to enhance workplace safety.
