Purpose of the Role

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for supervising the end-to-end assembly process of products, with a strong focus on meeting safety and quality standards.

Technical Skills Required

1. GD&T; knowledge
2. Knowledge of assembly tools such as torque wrench, spanners, pneumatic tools, etc.
3. Knowledge of fasteners, their applications, and different types of joints
4. Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, Poka Yoke, 3M, Kaizen, 5S, Jigs & Fixtures
5. Basic knowledge of SAP for material requisition and material consumption
6. Lean Manufacturing
7. Strong knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
8. Knowledge of electrical assembly and wiring, including cable routing, crimping, termination, and connector assembly
9. Knowledge of electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, switches, sensors, terminals, connectors, and cables
10. Knowledge of cable dressing, harness assembly, wire identification, ferruling, and proper termination practices
11. Awareness of electrical safety practices, including isolation/LOTO, grounding, and secure handling of electrical equipment
