- Experience in Prior authorization for an Imaging center/ Laboratory/ Hospital or billing company
- Exposure to Radiology claims prior and retro authorization
- Obtain insurance prior authorizations by assessing patient needs, collecting required information, submitting requests, and ensuring follow-up for authorization details.
- Handle multiple prior authorizations efficiently during one interaction with insurance providers, focusing on urgent patient needs and proactively gathering essential data.
- Review patient accounts for errors and maintain updated records.
- Monitor closely for significant rejections or denials from clearing houses and carriers mainly for authorisation and help to reduce this to less than 2%
- Provide timely error updates to clients and my manager to prevent future errors.
