- Aid with technical requirements gathering and client meetings and implementing new SmartPlant Electrical environments to suit scope of project.
- Project setup as per the requirements of the company and client.
- Create an Oracle/SQL database instance if not exists already
- Maintain the SmartPlant Electrical database for projects including backups, reports, imports, data integrity, etc. including the customization of reports as per project requirements
- Trouble-shoot and solve SmartPlant Electrical problems to ensure project integrity and user support
- Develop detailed project work instructions for users
- SmartPlant Electrical Administration including creating Plant Breakdown Structure, access rights, and naming conventions, symbology, filters, reports, system maintenance, etc.
- Project deliverable customization.
- Create custom Excel reports.
- Publish Project reports for revision control.
- Create custom symbols.
- Import data from Excel
- Participate in vendor/ subcontractor meetings
- Database Audit/ Closure/ Client interaction
- SPEL interface with SP3D and ETAP
- Awareness of SmartPlant Foundation
- Familiarity with ISO/Quality control procedures.
Skills:
8-15 years in SP Electrical Administration covering SPEL Administration and user support. Managed & administered medium to large size projects (with 10 to 20+ users) executed using the SP Electrical Application. Positive working experience of SP Electrical, intelligent 2D applications, Engineering design and drafting. Multiple project execution exposure essential. Experience of SP Instrumentation preferred.
Education A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
