We are looking for an enthusiastic, target-oriented Educational Counselor to guide students and working professionals in selecting suitable programmes and completing the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students, graduates, and working professionals on courses and career opportunities.
- Explain programme structures, eligibility, duration, fees, and admission procedures.
- Guide prospective learners interested in Data Science and Machine Learning programmes associated with IIT Madras Pravartak.
- Handle enquiries from phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, digital campaigns, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with leads and convert qualified enquiries into admissions.
- Understand students’ educational backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable courses.
- Maintain lead records, counselling notes,



and follow-up schedules using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams to improve admissions.
- Work towards monthly counselling and admission targets while maintaining transparent, student-focused guidance.

Eligibility & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
- Interest in education, technology, Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning.

Experience: Candidates with experience in educational counselling, EdTech, admissions, inside sales, or student relationship management are preferred. Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply. Salary & Benefits
