JOB TITLE: DYEING MANAGER

Location: Tirupur

Industry: Knitted Fabric Dyeing & Processing

Factory Capacity: 5 to 10 Tons / Day

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To handle complete Dyeing Factory operations from grey fabric to finished fabric with quality, cost and delivery control

.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Production Planning & Process Control

Plan daily dyeing lots as per order - color, GSM, dia, quantity

Handle complete process: Scouring, Bleaching, Dyeing, Hot Wash, Neutralization, Softening

Manage Stenter, Compactor, Squeezer operations for finishing

Control recipe, liquor ratio, temperature, time to achieve correct shade

2. Shade Matching & Quality

Match shades as per buyer lab dips / A4 / Original swatch

Lab to bulk conversion and correction for off-shades

Control GSM, shrinkage, color fastness, pH, dia issues

Maintain quality reports and reduce re-dyeing / re-processing %

Target: First Time Right (FTR) > 95%

3. Manpower Handling

Manage Dyeing Masters, Lab Chemists, Operators, Helpers (30-80 Nos)

Shift scheduling, attendance, training, discipline

Ensure SOPs for chemical handling and machine operation

4. Chemical, Cost & Stock Control

Control consumption of Dyes, Chemicals, Salt, Soda, Softener

Maintain dye stock register and daily consumption report





Reduce cost per kg - water, steam, power, chemicals

Raise indent for low stock on time

5. Machinery & Maintenance

Handle Soft Flow Dyeing Machines (Fongs, Then, Sclavos), Stenter, Compactor, Boiler

Preventive maintenance planning with maintenance team

Minimize machine breakdown and downtime

6. Compliance & Safety

ETP compliance, chemical safety, PPE usage, pollution control norms

Maintain all factory records for buyer audits

Ensure zero accidents in dyeing unit

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

B.Tech / Diploma / B.Sc in Textile Technology / Textile Chemistry

8 to 15 years experience in Tirupur Knitted Fabric Dyeing Factory

Minimum 3 years as Dyeing Manager / Factory Manager

Must have handled 5 Ton+ capacity factory independently

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Expert in Reactive Dyes, Shade Matching & Recipe Correction

Knowledge of Knits: Cotton, Lycra, Polyester, Viscose

Team handling, Costing, Production reporting

Buyer audit handling

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
