Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Destination Manager – Australia & Recent Zealand to lead overseas education counselling, admissions, business development, and destination-specific operations. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Australian and New Zealand education systems, university partnerships, student recruitment, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage student recruitment and counselling operations for Australia and New Zealand.
- Drive student enrolments, application conversions, and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and institutional representatives in Australia and New Zealand.
- Guide counsellors on course selection, university applications, admissions, visa documentation, and student processes.
- Ensure the team is updated on admission requirements, visa regulations, university policies, and destination trends.
- Monitor the complete student journey, from initial counselling to admission and enrolment.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop market strategies, and strengthen institutional partnerships.
- Train, mentor,



and motivate the counselling and admissions team to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor team productivity, conversion ratios, application pipelines, and enrolment reports.
- Ensure high-quality student service and compliance with applicable institutional and immigration guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the overseas education industry.
- Solid expertise in Australia and New Zealand destinations is mandatory.
- Proven experience in student recruitment, counselling, admissions, and team management.
- Good understanding of Australian and New Zealand universities, courses, admission processes, and student visa requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve enrolment and revenue targets.
- Experience managing a team of counsellors or destination specialists.
