Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India.

The Design

Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed designs and layouts for industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, including mechanical, electrical, and process components. Day-to-day tasks include preparing CAD drawings, performing design calculations, supporting product design for treatment systems, and collaborating with project, procurement, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards. The role also involves reviewing client requirements, optimizing designs for performance and cost, participating in technical documentation,



and providing engineering support during commissioning and troubleshooting.

The Design

Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary engineers to deliver robust, safe, and efficient solutions for industrial clients.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for industrial plant and equipment development.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise, including knowledge of process equipment, piping, and structural components.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge relevant to plant layouts, control panels, and instrumentation integration.
- Relevant skills such as understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, basic process design, and familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations are beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with readiness to work on-site in industrial environments.
