Purpose/Objective

Role Purpose The Deputy Manager - OT Security will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the operational technology (OT) infrastructure of Adani Cyber Security COE.

This role is critical in ensuring the security and resilience of OT environments, including PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs, which are integral to the operational efficiency and safety of Adani Group’s digital transformation initiatives.

The role aligns with the strategic objective of creating a secure and unified digital ecosystem, supporting the Group’s flagship projects and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement OT security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect critical infrastructure and operational systems.

- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses specific to OT environments, including PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs, to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT security measures into the design and deployment of digital platforms, including the Adani One Super App.
- Monitor and analyze OT network traffic to detect and respond to potential security incidents in real-time.
- Lead the implementation of advanced security technologies and tools tailored for OT environments, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on OT security best practices to internal stakeholders and project teams.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to internal and external security standards.




- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance OT security awareness among employees and partners.
- Stay updated on emerging OT security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively address potential risks.
- Support incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to critical operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- 4-8 years of experience in OT security, with a robust focus on securing PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs.
- Proven track record of implementing OT security solutions in large-scale industrial environments.

Technical Competencies

Deep understanding of OT environments such as PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

,Familiarity with protocols like Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA, IEC 61850, PROFINET.

, Nmap, Nessus, Burp Suite) and SIEM platforms like QRadar, Splunk.

,Expertise in network segmentation, firewall configurations, and secure remote access.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GICSP are highly preferred.

Years & Type of Experience - 4-8 years of hands-on experience in OT security, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.

- Experience in securing OT environments within critical infrastructure or industrial sectors.
