Ensure book closing checklist is followed and accounts are closed at the end of every month. Ensure all expenses w.r.t. raw material & overheads incurred across all locations are reported on monthly basis. Ensure all bills / vouchers are getting submitted to accounts department from all locations on timely basis.
Ensure collections from receivables are happening on timely basis. Escalate to management in case of sticky receivables (if any). Ensure balance confirmations are sent by subordinates to top customers and ensure their balance is matching with our books.
Monitor the entire bill booking process of material, services, asset on accurate & timely basis along with provision for expenses and prepaid process. Ensuring that advances given to employees, vendors are adjusted and settled on timely basis. Monitor old advances in connection with management.
Ensure GST reconciliation is happening on quarterly basis so the input credit not getting reflected in GSTR2A can be sorted out immediately in coordination with purchase department. Ensure balance confirmations w.r.t. top vendors are matching with our books.
Release Balance sheet, Profit & Loss account, Cash Flow statement with Indian GAAP and Ind AS formats. Release a report on book profit and Operating cash flow (OCF) reconciliation. Co-ordination with internal auditors, external auditors for timely and accurate balance sheet closing at the year end.
Maintaining legal calendar for having the pulse of these compliances and ensuring they are processed well before due date. Ensure strict adherence for filing of various returns as per the mandatory frequency under every act. Ensure payment of direct & indirect taxes on timely basis Robust coordination with CS in connection to all listed company compliances which includes submission of quarterly results on timely basis & so on.
Preparation of records on timely basis for board meetings. (including annual returns) Replying to queries, clarifications, show cause as the case maybe on timely basis in coordination with Auditors
