Responsibilities

Develop and implement data security strategies: Design and execute comprehensive plans that ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of Trask's data assets. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging threats to proactively adapt the security framework.

Assess and identify vulnerabilities: Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential security weaknesses within Trask's systems, networks, and infrastructure. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement necessary measures to mitigate risks and enhance security.

Establish data protection policies and procedures: Develop and enforce companywide data security policies, standards, and guidelines. Conduct training sessions to educate employees on data security best practices and the importance of compliance.

Incident response and management: Act as the first point of contact in case of data breaches or cyber threats. Lead the incident response team to investigate, contain,



and mitigate any security incidents. Create incident response plans, define communication protocols, and ensure all necessary parties are informed and involved.

Security infrastructure management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus solutions, etc. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvements.

Conduct security audits and compliance assessments: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards. Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications,



such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM, are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in data security, with a focus on implementing security measures, risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), security standards (e.g., ISO 27001), and best practices in data security.
- Excellent knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, encryption methodologies, and security technologies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or SANS Critical Security Controls, and their practical application in an enterprise workplace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and mitigating security risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and familiarity with cloud-based security technologies is a plus.
