Data Integration Engineer

Zywave is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Integration Engineer to maintain, update, and create integrations between Salesforce and other systems, including Zywave’s products, ERP platforms, and internal tools. This role ensures seamless data flow and system interoperability across the organization and supports business operations through reliable and scalable integration solutions.

Overall Role & Responsibility:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Salesforce and other systems
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions
3. Monitor and troubleshoot data flows to ensure accuracy and reliability
4. Document integration processes and enforce best practices for data management
5. Reports to the Director, RevOps – External Subscriptions

Essential Tasks:

Integration Development & Maintenance:

Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems such as Zywave products, ERP platforms, and internal tools. Ensure integrations are optimized for performance and scalability.

Data Flow Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

Monitor data pipelines and integration jobs to ensure accuracy and reliability. Diagnose and resolve integration issues promptly to minimize business disruption.

Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:

Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Documentation & Best Practices:

Create and maintain documentation for integration processes,



data mappings, and workflows. Establish and enforce best practices for data integration and ETL processes.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve integration efficiency and reliability. Recommend and implement enhancements leveraging modern tools and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in data integration or related roles
2. Robust proficiency with SSIS and other ETL tools
3. Solid understanding of data architecture and integration patterns
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
5. Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps, and Azure Service Bus
2. Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration best practices

Proficiency with the Following Systems is a Plus:

1. Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
2. Azure Data Factory
3. Azure Function Apps & Service Bus
4. Salesforce
5. ERP systems
6. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
