Role Description This is a contract, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

The Creative Content

Writer for Marketing will develop compelling copy and brand stories for digital and offline campaigns, including social media posts, website content, product descriptions, emailers, and marketing collateral. The role involves brainstorming with the marketing team, translating brand and campaign ideas into clear, engaging content, and adapting tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms.



Day-to-day responsibilities include researching food and consumer trends, aligning content with marketing objectives, optimizing copy for reach and engagement, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. The writer will also support campaign planning, participate in content calendar discussions, and collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive marketing assets.

Qualifications

- Strong creative writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging brand stories and marketing messages.
- Experience in marketing content creation for social media, websites, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Ability to conduct focused research on food, consumer behavior, and market trends to inform content.
- Familiarity with basic digital marketing concepts such as audience targeting, engagement metrics, and content optimization.
- Proficient in written English with excellent grammar, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, managing deadlines independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in FMCG, food and beverage, or consumer brands is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Literature, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
