- Analysis

- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM)-based product costing for:

- Solar products and power electronics

- Perform standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.

- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify cost drivers.

Pricing &

- Profitability

- Support pricing decisions through margin and profitability analysis.

- Conduct product-wise and segment-wise profitability analysis.

- Evaluate cost implications of design changes, recent product launches, and sourcing strategies.

Budgeting &

- Forecasting

- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to product cost and margins.

- Track actuals vs. budget and perform variance analysis.

- Support cost optimization initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with:

- Engineering (for product design inputs)

- Procurement (for material costing and vendor pricing)

- Manufacturing (for process cost inputs)

- Participate in new product development (NPD) discussions from a costing perspective.

Data &

- Reporting

- Develop and maintain costing models and MIS reports.

- Prepare dashboards and reports for senior management.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost data in ERP systems.
