Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Cotton Purchase Professional to drive cotton procurement activities, supplier relationship management, cost optimization, quality assurance, and supply continuity for our textile manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of cotton from ginners, traders, and sourcing partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, ginners, brokers, and cotton suppliers.
- Monitor cotton crop trends, arrivals, market prices, and industry dynamics.
- Negotiate procurement contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Ensure timely availability of cotton as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with quality, production, and supply chain teams for smooth operations.
- Track market intelligence, crop forecasts, and cotton pricing trends to support sourcing decisions.
- Drive cost optimization and risk mitigation in procurement activities.

Desired Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Textile Technology, Commerce, or related disciplines.
- 10 years of experience in cotton procurement, cotton sourcing,



cotton trading, or textile manufacturing.
- Robust understanding of cotton quality parameters, procurement processes, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively during cotton season.
