Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Advocate to handle the company's legal matters, ensure statutory compliance, review business agreements, manage legal documentation, and represent the company in legal proceedings when required. The candidate should have strong knowledge of corporate laws, labour laws, commercial contracts, and industrial legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the company's legal matters, disputes, notices, and litigation.
- Draft, review, and verify agreements, contracts, legal notices, undertakings, and other legal documents.
- Advise management on corporate law, labour law, employment matters, and business-related legal issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company laws, industrial regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Handle employee-related legal matters, disciplinary issues, employment disputes, and termination-related documentation.
- Review vendor agreements, purchase contracts, customer agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other commercial documents.
- Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, government departments, and courts as required.
- Manage legal notices, claims, recovery proceedings, and responses to legal communications.
- Provide legal support for company property, financial transactions, debt recovery, and contractual disputes.
- Maintain proper records of legal documents, case files, agreements,



compliance documents, and court proceedings.
- Identify potential legal risks and recommend suitable preventive measures to management.
- Support management in legal due diligence and other legal matters related to business operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Must be enrolled with the appropriate State Bar Council and eligible to practise law, wherever required for the role.
- Knowledge of corporate law, labour law, contract law, and commercial litigation.
- Experience handling industrial, manufacturing, or corporate clients is preferred.

Required Skills
- Robust legal drafting and documentation skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to handle confidential company information responsibly.
- Strong problem-solving and case-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with management, HR, Accounts, vendors, and external legal professionals.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working with manufacturing companies, private limited companies, or industrial establishments.
- Familiarity with employment disputes, vendor and customer contracts, debt recovery, and commercial litigation.
- Experience dealing with labour authorities, government departments, and courts.
