Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and overseeing volunteer activities to support the organization’s initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, this role coordinates volunteer schedules, maintains accurate records, and ensures volunteers are informed about their tasks and responsibilities. The Coordinator develops and delivers training materials, provides ongoing guidance, and serves as the main point of contact for volunteers.

This position also supports community outreach efforts, helps identify new volunteer opportunities, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to align volunteer programs with organizational goals. Regular communication with volunteers, monitoring engagement, and offering feedback and recognition are key components of this role.

- Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills.




- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Community Outreach and relationship building with external partners.
- Experience coordinating volunteers or community programs in a nonprofit or consulting setting is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms used for remote coordination, scheduling, and communication.
- Commitment to inclusive, respectful engagement with diverse communities and volunteers.
- Relevant education or training in social sciences, human resources, community development, or a related field is an asset.
