Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer role is a volunteer, hybrid position based in Maharashtra, India, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers to support ACCD’s programs and activities, ensuring that volunteer assignments align with organizational needs and community priorities. The Coordinator will maintain regular communication with volunteers, provide guidance and support, and help organize training sessions and briefings.

Responsibilities include maintaining volunteer records, scheduling and tracking participation, and assisting in planning outreach events, workshops, or campaigns. The role also includes collaborating with program staff to identify areas where volunteer support is needed and contributing to reports on volunteer engagement and impact.

Qualifications

- Background in Social Work and Social Services, with an understanding of child rights and community development.
- Experience in Case Management,



including organizing information, tracking engagement, and supporting individuals or groups.
- Solid Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with volunteers, staff, and community members.
- Experience in Community Outreach, including organizing local initiatives, events, or campaigns that engage diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and coordinate activities across in-person and remote environments.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including maintaining records, using basic office software, and preparing concise reports.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and a demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusive, child-centered practices.
- Previous experience coordinating volunteers or working with non-governmental organizations is an asset.
