Job Title: Commissioning Manager (Paraxylene Plant)

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning activities for our Paraxylene Plant project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing commissioning plans, ensuring that all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operational according to specifications and industry standards. You will coordinate with different teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure the successful startup of the plant and facilitate smooth operations.

Essential experience in the following process units is required:

- Sulfolane Process Unit
- Benzene Toluene Extraction Unit
- Tatoray Process Unit
- Xylene Fractionation Unit
- Parex Process Unit
- Isomer Process Unit / Px Residue

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the commissioning team to execute commissioning activities in a secure and efficient manner.
- Develop and manage the commissioning schedule, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
- Review and approve commissioning procedures and test plans for all systems including utilities, process, and safety systems.
- Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to resolve any technical issues during the commissioning phase.
- Monitor and report on progress and performance against the commissioning schedule, identifying and mitigating any delays or issues.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with project safety standards throughout the commissioning process.
- Provide training and support to operational staff on the systems and equipment post-commissioning.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Chemical
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in commissioning management, with at least 10 years in a similar role within the similar industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of commissioning processes for complex industrial plants, specifically Paraxylene or similar petrochemical facilities.




- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the industrial sector.

A degree in engineering or a related field, along with significant experience in commissioning within the petrochemical industry. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of commissioning processes and methodologies.
