Role Description The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities in alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparation and review of financial statements, general ledger maintenance, budgeting and forecasting support, and monitoring cash flow and working capital. The role will also involve handling direct and indirect tax matters, coordinating audits, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards, and supporting internal controls and risk management.

The Chartered

Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making, cost optimization, and capital expenditure planning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications





- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA)/CA Inter, with relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering industries.
- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Experience in taxation (direct and indirect), statutory compliance, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems, MS Excel, and other financial tools for data management and reporting.
- Ability to coordinate internal and external audits, implement internal controls, and support risk management processes.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of inventory, production costing, and export-related financial processes are advantageous.
