Purpose/Objective

To ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials required for cement manufacturing operations through effective planning, coordination, inventory management, quality monitoring, and vendor/interface management while maintaining safety, cost, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Monitor and manage day-to-day raw material requirements for plant operations.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, mines, and quality teams for timely receipt of raw materials.
- Track raw material consumption patterns and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of limestone, gypsum, fly ash, slag, coal, pet coke, and other key raw materials as applicable.
- Analyze stock levels, prepare material balance reports, and support production planning.
- Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal stakeholders for smooth material movement.
- Monitor raw material quality parameters and coordinate corrective actions in case of deviations.
- Generate MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, receipts, and shortages.




- Support cost optimization initiatives through efficient material utilization and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental requirements during material handling and storage.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and digitalization projects related to raw material management.

Qualifications and Experience

Tech in Mechanical / Mining / Chemical / Production Engineering or equivalent.

- 4-8 years of experience in cement, mining, manufacturing, power, or process industries.
- Experience in raw material planning, inventory management, logistics coordination, and production support.
- Working knowledge of SAP/MM or similar ERP systems.
- Solid analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of cement manufacturing processes and raw material management.
