Role Description The Career Counselor at AMLStarter will provide individualized guidance to learners pursuing careers in AML, KYC, and related compliance roles. This full-time Remote position, based in Noida, involves conducting career counseling sessions, assessing learner interests and strengths, and helping them build tailored career development plans. The role includes supporting learners in resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies aligned with AML/KYC career paths.

The Career

Counselor will collaborate with training and content teams to align counseling support with platform offerings and emerging industry trends.



The role also involves maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions, tracking learner progress, and organizing workshops or group sessions focused on career management and professional growth.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to guide diverse learners toward suitable AML/KYC career paths.
- Demonstrated experience in Career Development and Career Management, including creating structured growth plans and job search strategies.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to conduct clear counseling sessions, workshops, and feedback discussions.
- Familiarity with AML, KYC, and compliance roles, or willingness to quickly learn these domains to provide relevant career guidance.
- Ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and work with learners from wide-ranging backgrounds in a non-discriminatory, inclusive manner.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail when tracking learner progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; relevant certifications in career counseling are an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Gurugram, with proficiency in basic digital tools and online learning platforms.
