Role Description The Captain at Chelvies Coffee oversees day-to-day café operations and ensures smooth service during all shifts. This full-time, on-site role is based in Noida and includes supervising service staff, coordinating table assignments, and monitoring order flow. The Captain supports and guides team members, addresses guest queries or concerns, and ensures that service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols are consistently followed.

The role also involves managing shift briefings, assisting in training recent team members, and working closely with management to implement operational improvements.

Qualifications

- Experience in front-of-house operations,



including guest service, table management, and handling customer feedback in a café or restaurant setting.
- Ability to supervise and motivate service staff, coordinate shifts, and maintain a positive, respectful team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, order accuracy, and adherence to service standards and safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service; experience in a café or coffee-focused environment is an advantage.

- Capability to work full-time on-site in Noida, including weekends and peak hours, with a high level of reliability and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of POS systems, billing processes, and cash handling procedures.
- Relevant education or vocational training in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
